No better way to celebrate the first day of spring than to announce a great opportunity coming to the Monticello-Wayne Co Memorial Park.

On Monday,3/18/24 Mayor Catron and Judge Gehring were honored to join the Wayne County Community Early Childhood Council and Readers to Leaders to sign the contract that will start the project of the Story Book Trail at the local park.

This will be an amazing addition to the local park, as children and adults alike will enjoy the oversized storybook pages that will line the walking trail.
